INTERVENTIONS : Wechsler memory scale ( WMS ) was used to assess the memory quotient of the patient group and the control group.

Methods We observed the recovery of dysmnesia after brain injury treated in 110 cases by using routine treatment method and adding nimotop or hyperbaric oxygen or nimotop associated with hyperbaric oxygen, analysed the different memory quotient after different treatment methods.
Results : Compared with the normal controls, the patients with chronic alcoholic intoxication showed statistically significant differences on WMS's sub-scale scores and memory quotient ( P < 0.01 ).
