The nonlinear decoupling approximation is used to calculate numerically the effective linear dielectric function and third order nonlinear effect of metal particle composite media as function of random volume fraction, especially the high volume fraction, which show the nonlinear optimum volume ratio.
The governing heat transfer equations are solved numerically and effective thermal conductivity is calculated from the steady-state results. Results of subscale engine test show that the insulation ( PFDH-2 ) can be used for heat protection of oxidizer rich solid rocket engine chamber.
In the weak nonlinearity limit, we calculate numerically the effective linear dielectric function ( ε 0 e ) and optical nonlinearity ( χ e ) as functions of the volume fraction of insulator inclusions ( f ).
Finally, two examples are computed numerically, and the experiment results show that the algorithm is effective.
As compared with the variational method, the results indicate that the method in this paper not only improves the numerically computational precision, but reduces the computational memory and time. The simple and effective method is provided for the calculation of eddy current in the project.
